no I haven't done the hostile but plan on it this winter. My girlfriend and I stayed in a cabin just to have some privacy...but we met all of the folks in the hostile and they were a great crew while we were there.

Fingers crossed here that the lake effect continues up there, and if it does you will be ruined for the rest of the season after you experience bohemia

Holy shit! They might cross the 400 mark this year if superior doesn't freeze too much. I think I'm going in mid to late feb. Dont want to waste a season like this, conditions are pretty damn good here right now and we've only had like 45". Let us know how it goes.

Looking at late February... possibly President's day weekend (which is, unfortunately also Valentine's day weekend) but most likely would be going around the 28th.

Will do this will be first time up there, really looking forward to it after watching utube videos of the place and the amount of snow they have already. Supposedly they have had more snow then any lift accessed mountain in the US this year.

Just got back from a 4 day trip up there. It snowed every day, basically all day...totals were nothing too impressive but we woke up to maybe 5" on the last day that had been windblown into places making it feel balls deep. The coverage is good and if they stay on this weather pattern there gonna have one helluva season up there. Here's a little stoke for any thinking about making the trip to the far north.

Cool I'll check out the video tonight, can't view utube at work. How were the road conditions? We didn't make reservations in time so we have to stay Houghton and drive in. With all the snow I would assume that most of the rocks and stuff are covered up pretty well? We are heading up next Friday and riding through the weekend and possibly Monday too, can't wait.

The roads were good, snow covered but cold enough that they were grippy. Check out copper harbor for a motel, they have a place there with rooms for like 50$. It would be closer to Bohemia for you and it's a beautiful little town right on the lake. Coverage is damn good, we hit a few rocks but for the most part everything is good. You're gonna love it man, have a good trip up there!

Great I'll check out that hotel. Thanks for the info and snow report. We are stoked, just one more long week.

Hey checked out the video, looks awesome!! Good footage too, your lucky your girl is into the same stuff as you. My wife hates the cold and pretty much most of my hobbies.
