Snow Creek

I just wanted to give some props to the Rattlesnake Terrain park crew that builds and maintains the park at Snow Creek. They are a great group of folks and build an awesome park. The best part is that they maintain it so well. They are constantly grooming and changing little things to make it better. I've been using the park for 3 years now and this year is far and away the most fun park builds they have every done. Something for everyone. :yahoo:

Thanks for the hard work!

PS - Any chance of a 30-40' jump in the next build? :)

Hey man I just moved to the area and I've ridden an Snow Creek a few times. It seems like there isn't much of a scene around KC?

What do you mean by scene? There aren't many snowboarders cause we're 500+ miles from mountains.

The park changes all the time with 3 completely different builds each season. Today they have a 15' jump couple very small jumps, rainbow box, down box, straight handrail, straight 6" wide flat rail, mailbox, down handrail and a couple other small features.

sounds great. i usually ride Carinthia at Mt.Snow every week but I really like going to smaller local hills. I actually prefer small/medium features so I get to learn new tricks

Pretty much everything is a small feature with a couple medium. I really like the park...great place to learn. They have a little park in the bottom of the middle run with 2 wide flat boxes and a very small jump. Great place to learn new things before taking them to the big park! FYI - the snow gets very sticky when it is warm.

Worth a 3 hour drive? Maybe wait for a good cold spell?

That's tough. Cold spell and a riding buddy and I would say yes.

Ok thanks. I've lived in Kansas my entire life and never been there. Would like to play in the park so maybe when it cools down again I'll make it out.
