Default Free next weekend? MtBohemia?

Well if anyone is interested he's an open invite. I am going with my 2 sons (18 & 17), 2 of they're best friends (same age), one of the friends dad, and Deacon from here on the forum (3 Gummer guys).

We will be arriving Wed Jan 21st for first chair and leaving Sun Jan 26th at close.

So if your trip coincides lets take some runs together. If you planing on being there already, send me a message. Thinking about going, do it and then send me a message.

Dave Z (SBF member) is there now having a great time, looking forward to experiencing our own great time. 1st time ever going there so ready to leave already!!!!

I know it's last minute unlike last seasons trip that I announced much earlier and much more planning. It is here, we are going and all are welcome to join us.

I feel inclined to chime in here. I am here with Dave right now and in my opinion anyone on the fence about coming along with this invite due to their ability level should be careful. I've been riding for three seasons, about 30 days per year and can handle most everything at our "better" resorts in the NWLP and I'll be perfectly honest this place is no joke. I'm having a great time and have pushed myself a bit, but I've only handled 4 or 5 of the runs and got lost in waist deep snow in the woods. This place is no joke if you're only used to riding groomers. Glad I came though, it is a lot of fun being here.

The single biggest difference with Bohemia is that there is no easy way down. At most resorts you can ride 2000 or 3000 vert without ever really having to "work" for it (unless you deliberately seek out the gnarliest terrain). At Bohemia, without fresh snow, there's not going to be much cruising and you will have to work for almost every turn. Keen and on point, keep an eye out for dips, whoops, and other variations in terrain that may sneak up on you, too.

Otherwise, just find small cliffs to throw yourself from. It's fun!

After three days, our was icy and bare, i decided to head back down to granite peak. David's description is on point, it was work, but it's a blast! Talk about having to reevaluate one's own ability level!

Yep that's exactly where I was with it. I had fun, but it was a humbling experience.
