Default I'm done for 2014/2015

Went to Little Switzerland today. Conditions were... Sloppy but normal for warm spring temps. Hope to meet up with some of you SE Wisconsin riders next year.
Happy spring.

Happy spring.

Got a little less than a week left here at my local mountain. Hoping to get 2-3 more days in but yeah...conditions are deteriorating rapidly. I need to do some board maintenance anyway (tuning, etc) so it's getting to be that time! Was thankful for that last dump we had here to end the season out...got to ride on some nice *for the mid-atlantic* powder.

Thumbs up

Last day for me at Alpine Valley same conditions but the new skiers were just hilarious.
1st we did feel bad for them and we did help a few off the hill. Man were they eating it bad and it was funny watching them. Glad they didn't get hurt I never want to laugh at that.
There was some pretty significant retention ponds in the middle of the runs. These poor guys were soaked head-toe, from crashing in these.

Not sure you saw any of my threads snowmonkey but I was able to met and ride with some awesome SBF members this season. I hope you can join us next year.

Snowmonkey and I are both southern WI 2 hours north of Chicago, Milwaukee suburbs.

Ya I rode this weekend had a great time with friends. If I wasn't with them I would have left after a few runs. It was pretty rough but we made it fun.

Great way to end the season. This was me I can't speak to Snowmonkeys day

Shit, don't think I could handle my season ending already. Just got back from an awesome trip and my season pass mountains usually run into late April, and can get some great spring turns into mid May if I travel a bit. Shit.

ya I wish it was longer but it's what we got here and my Honey-Do-List is becoming unmanageable.
you all know my moto "ride what ya got" and I rode the shit out of it !!!
I think I was on the hill 3 days after it opened do to work schedule and if tomorrow is the last day I rode right to the day before they closed.
I lost count of my actual days on the hill but I started 2nd week Nov and ended today. It's got to be close to 40 days. Hell I've done 14 days since Feb 1st. Not bad of an 47 year old dad with 50hr work weeks and 3 teenagers.

You can't really ask/do better than that no matter where or what you ride.
Now you guys that can still ride need to keep the rest of us stoked with your end of season stories

I haven't even been able to get a single day of riding. My season was over before it started. Still, I find myself feeling very sad at seeing all the bare patches of ground appearing as the snow melts.

My local hills are still open for another month. I've even herd they're planning to stay open into May, depending on conditions. I'm gonna ride the shit out of them until the last one closes!
