Midwest Convention/Expo - Equipment Search - Snowboarding Forum

I remember hearing from an old friend that they picked up a board and all the fixings years ago at an expo of sorts just outside of Chicago. All the major players were there offering up discounted merchandise. Something like this sound familiar to any of you junkies? If so, do you know of any upcoming in and around Michigan?

It's the Windy City Ski & Snowboard Expo. It's taking place October 8/9/10 this year at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center. They have crazy deals on gear, but if you want the good stuff make sure you go early. Also, they had a rail jam last year, which was a super good time. Not a problem man. I went there last year and had a great time. There's TONS of gear for sale and lots of product giveaways from the vendors. AMP energy (or Red Bull..I can't remember) was giving out free drinks and whatnot last year. Its just a good time. I'm for sure going again this year.
