perfect north is pushing snow to keep a couple top to bottom runs open, and i guess their park is handling traffic but im not for sure if its worth the drive for me or the 33 bucks.

Great day at Mad River Mountain today. The drive from Columbus this morning was a bit grueling, took about 2.5 hours. The drive back was much better as the road crews had time to work, only took 1.5 hours.

Today it was dumping buckets of snow. It was a bit heavy but still a whole lot of fun. When we arrived they had about 75% of their terrain open. By the time we left, only Momentum on the far left side was still closed.

I'm looking forward to Friday and getting back up there.

So mad I couldn't go today with all this new snow because of work. Unfortinatly it does not look like we are going to get the amount they were predicting because the storm broke apart early. Still thinking of heading to snowtrails tomorrow and then working with little sleep tomorrow tho. Hope they get a few more inches tonight.

Not sure if anyone's following BMBW on facebook, but there's been quite a bit of hate about no opening date when Snow Trails and MRM opened. Honestly, anyone that has talked to Vinnie (GM) knows he's trying to get it open as soon as possible. We got hit hard with snow today in Summit county though, I work in Solon and got sent out of work early due to the forecast and road conditions

Oh and by the way there's a bag jump weekend scheduled for Boston Mills.

Edit: Update, right as I posted this they announced opening day as Friday 3-10pm at Boston Mills

Yeah it was great to see them announce an opening day. I go to Case in Cleveland so I'm not around at the moment, but I'll definitely be down to ride with whomever after I'm back. I bought a summit pass, but none of my friends are as into riding as I am so I plan on making a bunch of solo trips.

Can't decide if i want to go to bm opening day or holiday valley tomorrow. Obviously holiday will be more fun but i feel like im betraying my home mountain.

From what I've heard, NY is getting hit hard. Holiday Valley maybe worth the drive.

Ended up going to boston mills. It was a good time. Can't wait for midnight madness tomorrow at BW.
