Been riding there 17 years now. Back when we had a pipe at the top of shredder, before it was changed and added to the side, and before it was taken out. (Wasn't too happy about that) Not sure of your guys ages, I'm 31, but we weren't allowed to ride at Boston Mills back in the day, only at Brandywine. I live in the Stow/Kent area so I'm pretty close to you!

Bottom right, ignore the pro bs, it was just the age division I guess, me on the left with the number 4 up, my buddy Jonathan on the right in plaid, you're welcome to come ride with us anytime! Always cool to meet new people. Don't forget, October 16th is the rail jam, I hear they are doing a release of some new ski/board movie as well right afterwards.

I'm an old school carver and big method kinda guy. So I ride a Arbor Nightrain 161, a Forum Symbol 163, Rome Anthem 166, Igneous 168-Custom built like a Burton Supermodel, Burton Supermodel 181 for rare occasions.

Union Force Bindings
Forum Kicker SLR's

Mostly I ride alone in the AM or late night. If I go out with others I'm usually filming your shooting stills. So if you can "bring it" I'm your cameraman. Otherwise it wouldn't take long to show you around the place.

Yeah here's the link to the event, it's the open house the ski resort has and the rail jam is part of it....

BMBW Open House | Boston Mills Brandywine

Usually a 3 obstacle event, last year was 3 flat tables, next to a straight rail, next to a t-box type thing rail. 3 separate drop-ins. I didn't know about the one in Mentor till it was too late :( The movie after is called Eye Trip, the preview looks pretty sick. Would be awesome to see you guys out there.

Cool man, I broke my wrist in 3 places at the open house 2 years ago. Didn't even realize how bad it was till some kid behind me in line pointed it out. It was the year of those god-awful orange shirts they handed out, lol.

I'm not super into rails, getting better at them, but every time I drive by campus I think about jibbing that giant painted stone. I don't know where to ride in from, but I could bring my camera and claim it's for a magazine if campus security gets pissy :)

Kent alum/former resident... I'll just throw out that 7springs is a do-able day trip too for something different. I've done it before when I lived there. Its about 2hrs straight down I-76. Pretty nice parks.

If you really like the urban stuff, you could always build a little kicker on the hill in front of kent hall. Or go ride the zamboni poop in the parking lot behind the ice area.

I am pretty serious with photography, if we get a sunny day we can easily do some stuff like that at bm/bw, same with kent state if you do some urban stuff, I just can't do the multiple shots (sequencing) at night like in the daytime. I'll have to go through some photo's, got some sick stuff at the Kilted Yak Big Air event.

I really wish they would put in another pipe at BMBW, I had moved to florida a for a few years, came back and it was gone. Total bummer, it's my favorite discipline to ride too :(

OHeatz, not too much going on Sunday unfortunately. Grab some free popcorn and soda (or 2 dollar draft beer) and take a chairlift ride, haha.
