Alright everyone. So setting up a unique Paypal account for just this meet is a PIA involving bank account.
I'll just use my personal one for this. I withdrew my measly $3.00 balance so I can keep clear track of it haha. My email is Leo730@gmail.com. So far we have 8 people confirmed and that includes myself. So as it stands, it's $62 and change per person. So I'll say put down half for now in case more people confirm. $30. Ron and I are both putting $50 down on the cabin next week. You can wait until we do that before you put yours down. I'll give you confirmation of when we pay Jeff (cabin property owner). The following are the legalities. Legalities: The purpose of this down payment is for security because Ronald Pate and Leo Shim are reserving a cabin from Crystal Adventures for two nights, 12/16 - 12/17 and 12/17 - 12/18. Not everyone will be guaranteed a bed so sleeping bags are required, but we will reserve rooms for couples. Choice of which room is first come first serve. The remaining rooms follow the same first come first serve rule. All payments are non-refundable with the exception of special circumstances such as reduced lodging cost. You may cancel for reasons that you cannot control, but must provide proof. Upon which, you will be refunded in full. Price of lodging could decrease depending on additional participants. Conversely, price could increase should participants drop out before payment. By making a payment, you agree to all of the above rules and conditions. Also upon payment, you give your consent that Leo Shim and Ronald Pate will not be held liable for any injuries associated with the use of the lodging. By agreeing, you fully acknowledge that this will be a shared lodging facility and that we are not responsible for other parties. Leo Shim and Ronald Pate shall also be freed of any liability associate with the Crystal Mountain snowboardingforum.com meet. Snowboard at your own risk! Leo C. Shim, known by "Leo" on SnowboardingForum.Com, hereby agrees that funds added to Leo730@gmail.com via PayPal by participants of the event will be used strictly towards payment to Crystal Adventures for lodging for the total sum of $500. Leo C. Shim also hereby agrees participants will be refunded the difference should the price of lodging decrease. Leo C. Shim |

This is a 7 hour drive from Columbus Oh but the price is telling me this would be cheaper and more fun then going to snowshoe in WV which is abt the same distance...
I would have a total of 4 people (all dudes unfortunately hah) but this sounds like a great time - I will prob be sending in our payment next week if there is still enough room (again all dudes so passing out on the floor is no prob at all) let me know if it is even possible - if it is i am going to get a down payment for everyone Also - lift tickets are not showing up on the website - does anyone know the reg price for a 2 day pass per person? |

Hey KPD. Take a look at this site. The one I provided was only for the cabins which is down the road from the mountain.
Downhill Lift Ticket Rates | Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa Keep in mind that us lower pen Michigan riders do not have "gnarly" mountains. More like a big hill. Will definitely make the best of it though! I'll keep you posted about number of attendees. |

Calendar indicates regular season pricing begins that weekend, unfortunately.
If we end up with more than 15 people we can qualify for group rate lift tickets of $35/person.

well i'm assuming if we have that many people that some ppl will have to be on their own for lodging, but that's your call so whenever you think the cabin is "full" we'll cut it off. Of course, people are still welcome to meet us up there they would just have to get their own cabin, or stay at the resort or in a hotel in Cadillac or something.
