plenty enough grade there for a jib park.

i'm sure it is going to be lit because they'll need to run nighttime operations I think, in order to make any money on it. just not enough people (especially kids) can get out & ride during the day.

Yeah, I assumed lighting as well. I remember someone here I asked so I wanted to make sure I pointed it out.

They're definitely asking for a lot of feedback from the local community. I wonder what they're looking for when they ask if anyone wants to help...ditch diggers? Feature builders? All of the above?

So what exactly the plan for this place? Like a tow rope for kids to use or are they going to be throwing in some jibs and whatnot?

Thought I would drop in here say what's up to my fellow MI people!

My name is Steve and I am very new to snowboarding (But I learn quick...hope it applies to boarding as well).. This forum has been awesome for the help so far and I have been gathering items for my setup this year. David_z thanks again for all the suggestions and answers to my dumb questions!!!

BTW I changed my mind and exchanged the Rome 390's for the Rome 390 Boss bindings. Now just have to make up mind mind on the board!!

My understanding is that it's going to have a beginner hill and intermediate and advanced park features for experienced riders.
