Alright everyone since Summer is over, fall has just begun and we've already had our first rail jam of the year, it's time to start a new thread for the 10/11 winter.

Last year we had the "Southeast" michigan thread, but I think we should do all of Michigan. Sure, most of population lives in S/E michigan but we all ride the same resorts in the LP and even the UP if we get a chance, so we should have one thread to bring everyone together.

Cheers everyone we're probably only like 70 days from open resorts!

Nice Dave. Did you still want those boots of my daughter's? Size 2. Like new, she only wore them out 3 days last season and her feet are growing like crazy. Still have the box and everything.

hmmm probably I'll still take 'em.

I got Zoey a pair of grom size 11 (toddler) which I think is the smallest size that anyone makes. She is about a size 8/9 right now so I think in another month or two, and with thick socks, she'll be good in the 11s for this year but the size 2s probably she'll need them next winter.

Just for hunting? No, just turned out that way.

My girlfriend's sister lives in Boyne City. We haven't been to the trailer since April as she rented it for the summer.
We had planned Thansgiving up there as we've done the last 3 years. It was great: surf and turf. Hunt in the morning, then hit the hill for the afternoon session.
This year, barring a miracle, it's surf only. But I can get the trailer squared away, get my pass, relax, eat some tasty duck and chill.
I'm going to Maine in December Sea Duck hunting, just ordered an AK parka in vintage Duck Blind. Can totally use for both sports. Win!

By the was she wants to sell it after ski season. Pretty sweet could probably score under $10,000. Fireplace!:excl:

I'll be looking for you yardbirds up there this winter!

Snow in the extended forecast for Caberfae area, starting November 20th. Several days with snow chances. It's not much to get excited about but better than this shit we've been seeing so far. *fingers crossed*

I don't think Loveland and A-Basin are bad, maybe not compared to the resorts like Vail, Keystone, etc. (would have to ask the locals). We were there last year on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday and never once waited in a lift line with more than half a dozen people in front of us. No joke.
