About the 15 second mark I messed up and there is some color-correction effect that I thought I got rid of. I didn't intend to do any color correction because frankly it is a pain in the ass and impossible to do right. Oh well. I'm not wasting another 2hrs to re-render & re-up a new version to fix that 5 seconds. At least not any time soon.

Seems you've been favoring the Contour Dave. Or is it because you don't feel like helmeting up? Pretty good footage actually.

A little bit of both. I have a love/hate relationship with the GoPro because it really does get good footage but it mounts so hideously and is kind of awkward to use as a handheld.

The contour is the new new for me since I used the GoPro all of last season. I wanted to use the Contour and really test it out and see what sort of footage I get with it. The first few times I used it I really didn't get much - if anything - worth keeping, but Monday's footage came out pretty decent.

Even though the FOV is not as wide as the GoPro, you'll notice in the follow-cam shots of me that it still has that "far away" look to it but it is not as pronounced of a fisheye effect as the GoPro. I zoomed the raw footage to compensate for this a little bit. I followed Jesse a little closer so the footage of him is generally a bit tighter in frame.

I can't get over the teletubby thing either. That's why I got the front helm mount. Saw a girl with it when we were at holly. Looks way less... um, how do I put this... turdish.

I feel like a halo character when I have the Drift Innovation on my helmet.

Nice edit. I like the song choice and the way you tied some of the effects into it. Went together awesome.

That was more luck than skill LOL. I usually try to use very short songs, since I don't like to cut them off early and I don't like to make super-repetitive edits (how many 50/50s do you really want to watch?). I've been wanting to use that B-Boys tune for a while. Turns out that when I did the Fast-Forward effect by speeding up the footage in between features, I just lucked out and it kind of synced with the scratching of the record in the song.
