Any of you guys ride Bittersweet in Otsego, MI? We've started a weekly edit we call Bittersweet Wednesdays with the park crew over there. If you want to check out our first two episodes (we're getting better as we go along..), here you go

EPISODE 1

EPISODE 2

Haven't gotten much response on them, but let me know what you think if you would. Anything you'd like to see in a future edit?

we rode bittersweet last year, and my 2 boys (ages 6 and 8)loved it. perfect sized hill for us. bought my oldest boy a snowboard and this was his first time. he did very well, soon enough he will linking turns and hitting jumps. the nice thing about bittersweet is that it is only 2 hours from me in windsor, ontario. the pricing is very reasonable as well. the terrain park was fun, i am just a beginner in this area, can hit a 50/50 fs, and do a fs 180 fairly consistently. thats about all i have in my basic bag of tricks. still learning and loving every minute of it.

Default Riding/Turning Switch

Hey guys,

I posted a couple of vid clips in the "General" forum. Thought I'd post a link to it here so you can check it out & see how I'm doing with riding Switch!

(Remember, I'm a first year NooB, so ...be gentle!!)

Hey Dave,

Was going to ask how things went @ Holly today. Glad it turned out to b such a nice day for U. Didn't seem to be quite as frigid out.

PK was good yesterday, but the temps were a bit brutal. Even with a face mask, I was getting ice on the stash from the wind. Definitely a 2 base layer day!

One good thing about the bitter cold was, the place was practically deserted all day. Hardly any pink toddler missiles to worry about!!

We took off to nubs for Saturday and today......awesome! For whatever reason they were fairly dead too. This will be my last Michigan trip/riding until march as we are leaving for Colorado next Sunday. 6 full days...can't wait!!!!

Here's a quick lap from today

unfortunately my only truly successful 180 on to that down rail the camera battery died right on the approach. this one was pretty close, but you can see I slipped out a little before the end of the rail anyways i am glad to be back hitting real rails again and trying some different stuff on/off of them. So far this season I had a weird aversion to any sort of rail feature and just wasn't feeling it, but today it was game on, so, hopefully I can get a little better over the next few weeks!

nice 180 dave! i ended up goin to mt holly last night from about 5-9. i'm sure you would agree their park wasn't as nice as PK's but it was dece. i thought their kicker line was horrible. every one of the kickers had too much flat and not enough lip. i was hittin that same rail line. actually got a few legit bs boardslides on that bottom flat rail so i was happy. headed to utah on thursday this week
