Sweet vids. Out of my league this season but it looks fun

In the video it's a 156 I've been riding most of this season. You can safely drop a few CM's and go down to a 157 wide or mid-wide. Just remember that guys our size can get away with slightly stiffer park boards or use a softer "all mountain" board in the park, so we have some options.

I was counting on Hawk Island to progress my park and get 20+ days this season. I know it's not too late but jeebus, 6-8 weeks have been lost.

sounds like they may open this week/weekend. If they're open Saturday I am going to try and get up there for it.

I missed the meeting last Wednesday so I'm totally out of the loop right now outside of what's being disclosed on their FB page.

yea i don't think its gunna be a record year for anyone. im banking on places staying open till mid April again this year but i think the resorts up north will even have a hard time with that.

Put it this way Sam... you're getting an earlier start in the park than most of us here. I just started getting into boxes last season which was my 6th.

I don't think Dave really concentrated on jibs either until a few seasons ago. You're in your second season and in all honesty, we might as well call it your first season since you barely rode last year. You're progressing at a very fast rate

I don't think anyone in MI has enough base to stay open in to April like Boyne did last winter.
