Unless my minor cold gets worse, my son (5-1/2) and I will be at Mt. Holly on Sunday for the day session. I wear black pants, brick red jacket, and a black helmet. I ride a Donek.

I saw that at JohnDee.com and it's definitely enticing... At this rate man I just don't know if I can pull the trigger it is a fuckload of driving to chase what *may* be the tail end of a storm 2 days too late... Man o man decisions... Got a condo on courtesy hold here at Crystal until EOD today, for next weekend... Gotta commit to something and I feel like less driving/more shredding is the conservative bet at this point... Damn.

I was out @ Holly yesterday. It wasn't bad. Snow was soft enough to carve some.

For about a dozen runs, i was getting dialed into making some small "Pops" on bumps in one of the blue runs. Nothing big No huge air or anything. You know, Just trying to focus on balanced stance & timing my extentions. Trying to get comfortable, increase my skills & gain some confidence.

Haha sounds like fun until the end. I'm right there with you still trying to learn new things which means falling! The weather looks favorable at boyne through this week so I may have to drive myself out there this coming up weekend.

I've already got my personal day for approved Fri.. I'll b headed that way early Fri. morning for a 3 day weekend. I hope they get DUMPED on right up till Sat.!!! gonna try and hit Highlands, Nubs & B. Mnt. before I leave!!

BTW, I was WAY over due for a "biff" like yesterday's!

Lately, I've been ramping up my speeds, doing harder runs, I learned to go & link turns toe-side while riding switch, I've even done a dozen or so entire blue runs riding switch from top to bottom. All without catching an edge, or a single major fall!! So I was "Definitely" due for a bit of humbling!!

Lol!!!

I finished out the day just riding and doing a little "spinning"! Linking 360 degree spins, around and around on the mellower part of the slope, just to fine tune my "Edge" awarness!!

It's funny, Yesterday was the very first time I ever tried to spin like that. Now that I can "manage" a little switch riding, I thought I'd give it a try. It went really well! No falls! (My ass is thankful for that today!!)

That would be an awesome weekend! I'm looking at heading up that way Friday evening and then hitting the Boyne mountain on saturday all day while there is still snow!

It is just puking snow at Mount Bohemia right now, by tomorrow, it will probably be some of the best conditions in two or three years. There is also talk of snow Tuesday and Wednesday. Johndee.com says up to 20" by the middle of the week, it's absolutely the shit here right now. Anyone trying to get up here, now is the time to do so.

Aw man, really? I was going board up there all day saturday, but a friend dropped out and we decided not to go (since there would only be two of us). Sounds wicked though...
-Does anybody go to Schuss Mt.? (shanty creek). I'll probably be heading over there this friday night like maybe 6-10pm for some night boarding. For any college students it's 10$ 5-10pm and if you have a buy-one-get-one free thing from shell you can use that too...
