I think it's something with the internet up here but I can't get on page 185 of this thread. Right now we have received 6-7" of new snow in most places but there were spots it was definitely a foot, it's likely we will get another 6" tonight with probably another 8-10" on Tuesday and Wednesday. It's still really dumping snow here, and the wind we have also been getting is making some pretty gnarly wind lips in the Bear Den/Mining Co. sections of the hill. Tomorrow is going to be killer, so will tuesday/wednesday I think and it should be pretty damn good for a couple weeks as long as temps stay friend and it doesn't get completely raided during Mardi Gras and just about everything around Lac la Belle in the vicinity of Boho is pretty full.

ahhhh man I just *cannot* justify the drive this year. too far, not enough time budgeted for the trip... plus it looks like the northern LP will be getting some LES too and I've got my season pass at Crystal so I'm most likely going to take advantage of that for a few more days.
Man I wish I could do both...

![]() What always gets me jealous on this site is seeing the pics/vids from the guys in Japan, I just can't even look at it anymore. BTW did you here about the party in I think it was Vail or Aspen this year where the resorts were actually finding people to come out and do an actual snowdance performance, I think it was in late December, they weren't getting snow but had quite a few people and had to keep them entertained somehow. I wish all you guys good luck on snow down in the LP.

Last night there was like 10 guys from Detroit here, and out behind the hostel yurt we had a picnic proped up to a bench where there was a big dead pine tree that we knocked over and made our own line, the dudes here were calling it "yurt style" and this was all happening between midnight and about 2:30 in the morning, and I know they have some pics and a vid of the guy who was riding with smoke bombs taped to his helmet, I'll see if I can track these down, and with permission, post them on here if you want.

12 years ago this place didn't exist but all the local skiers and boarders would come out here on powder days and hike up the hill, I wasn't here then but I've heard this from half a dozen people I know who work here including Lonnie. I don't doubt it there is 1 or 2 boarders up here well into their forties were just flat out bombing this hill, and I know for a fact I've heard these guys talking about how they didn't remember when this place got a chairlift, it just kind of showed up one day. And there are other hills around here I've heard about people hiking to where people had their own lines set up using a chainsaw. I'm not really into jibbing unless it's going to get me down the hill faster so I wouldn't go that all out, but there are definitely places at Boho where I saw a guy riding a new Kink today.

I'll try and get a picture up this week but I will most likely have a white burton coat with thin black strips, red pants and I'll be riding my NS Legacy. My board will probably make it easy to spot me if you see it! haha
