up top I pop a small frontside 180 to go switch, make a few turns, and then just flat-land revert to go back to my forward stance. it's kind of like a butter but I'm not elevating nose or tail on the revert so I think it's really just pivoting the board over its waist.

Damn, just checked out my vids. I'm missing a bunch that I thought I had recording the few hours before meeting up with Dave. I have one video of my first tree run and that's it. At some point, I saw that my memory card came out while still in the housing. Must have been from a small drop I did out of the trees as the landing was flat and harsh. Plus, now I have the nose of my board in constant view with the lower angle I tried, but it sucks for seeing what was ahead.
I need to use my front bar mount more :/ |

Also very disappointed with how short that Drift monopod is, it really needs about another 12 inches to get a full body shot in the frame.

I think my Contour needs to be mounted on the right side of my head. I notice the footage looks a little more like what I want/expect when I am riding switch. If I put it on the right side that should make the footage better when riding regs.

Heres the video from Saturday, ill post up the pics when I have sometime.
Keweenaw Backcountry 1st Trip - YouTube We never did get to Mt. Houghton. About 3 miles outside of it, the sled got stuck when we almost hit a tree. We walked about another eighth mile to find the road was closed by a gate anyways. After some consideration, we found there was no route around it without back tracking 2 miles, so we decided to start hiking the hills around us. Nothing but balls deep powder everywhere, and that was before 10"-15" that fell last night. Lonnie at Boho was telling my friends about 15"-20" on Wednesday. That should put the whole area in that video at about chest deep pow. With spring break approaching next week, I don't think I'll be able to make another trek out there till after, but with all this snow falling, it should all be accessible still in two weeks.

For the few seconds when I'm riding switch, I feel like I see more of the board in the footage. When I'm riding regular, it's like I don't really see much of the board except sometimes the nose if I'm looking down low enough.
