Dude, I LOVE how stoked you are for landing that hahahahaha. Awesome my man. Let's tear that up next time we ride there together. Crystal actually has some good ones too of that size. I was just too busy playing in the trees.

Maybe I can bring myself to try a 360 on one.

The thing about first attempts, I find they go a lot smoother than second attempts. You have nothing to really analyze in your mind. It's just point, drop, and fly. Once you hit it, you start analyzing stuff and over-think it. My first suitcase grab was flawless. It took 3 more tries to land one again last season because I started to think about stuff like the amount of air I got, style etc...

Dave is evidence as well. That tree jib I broke, he didn't even see it at first. I yelled out "to your left" when he was riding and he immediately carved into it and jibbed the whole length of it. Split second reaction that he probably did not even give a second of thought and he rode it.

You're so right about the first hit versus thinking about the process afterwards. Can't wait to hit these with you next season, we're gonna have a blast. Maybe we can take advantage of that foam pit at Misfit Labs this summer.

This is nothing as interesting as the clips you guys have been posting. I was at Holly this Sat. and after catching an edge & bashing my behind, (of course I wasn't filming when I did that!) I decided to finish the last few runs of the day riding and practicing a little more of my switch riding.

I had seen a few guys doing 360 degree circles, spinning their boards around while moving down slope. I thought I'd give it a try. If nothing else, I thought it might help me focus on my edge awareness! Turns out, now that I'm not crashing every time I go toe-side while switch, this felt pretty natural!

(Camera is strapped to my L leg which is my lead foot riding regular. So View downhill is me riding "regular", views Up slope is Switch!)

quicklx: You have solid form from the looks of the pics. You suck your knees up by-the-book. Next step is to drop one of those arms and grab the board somewhere

I did have a couple grabs, but because our buddy with camera was to my right you can't see it in any of the other pics. I almost landed a 180 off that same roller, but my switch skills aren't quite there. landed on the tail and washed out. gonna keep working on it though.
