going with Brad (he was at the Crystal meetup earlier this year) and his friend Brad. Weird, right?

I mentioned it to Jay29 too and also to boardaddicktd. Not sure that either of them can make it up there at all but told them basically that even if they want to only go up there for 1 day or whatever, they can crash on our floor. Not sure how the parking situation would work but I'm sure we could figure that out.

In hindsight, I think I always used to ski/ride Schuss. Not sure I've ever been on the Shanty side of things.

Schuss= Shanty creek. I mean, I haven't actually skied summit, but from what my friend told me schuss was way better...

The park, well. It's got quite the variety... They have a jump with like a 20 foot gap, a few table tops with kickers on them and some smaller jumps. There's an artificial table, a variety of rails... It's quite nice. The only problem I had was that when I went last friday it was much slower than the previous week I had gone (until it got later in the night). Really nice park... They even have a half pipe off of a different run, but it was really slow and the walls were washed out.
-What outfits should I look out for so I can watch you pros?

oh I'm faaaaaar from "pro" when it comes to park riding. I've got blue pants, turquoise helmet & probably be wearing a bright red hoodie. pretty hard to miss this outfit

I'm not that great myself, that's why earlier I said I'd be getting shredded at the park, stead of shredding it... Hah. Last week, you should have seen the crash I had. I hit the big jump (which has a blind landing zone) and a lady was standing in the middle of the landing zone. I landed about 8 feet in front of her maybe -then smoked her... hah. Actually ended up hitting my face on the edge of her ski when fell. Thankfully I had just bought got oakley goggles,which saved my face, and the lady was alright.

That's such BS! I hope you gave her a mouthful. You really need to yell at people like that because they are putting not only themselves in danger, but jumpers as well.

I was sitting next to a box (well out of the way) to get Dave hitting it on camera and this little skier kid made it up a quarter of the way and instead of going back down, dude was slowly walking up the whole box. Mom was right next to him just watching. Dave and I obviously got pissed. I have the last part of that kid on video. Should have kept rolling though as Dave gave them the double bird lol.

Last night I mapped out Shanty, I didn't realize it was way up in Boyne country. Sadly that's too far for me if I gotta be back in town by 6pm.
