Actually, that's just plain Ol' mean and downright depressing!! ;-)

UP Did get some snow. Just hoping for an early start 2 the season and a ton of snow thru out! (...it can go late too as far as im concerned!!!)

After reading the post's about this place I went and googled it. Looks interesting but I wanted to get some input from those of you who've actually been there,..

...from the vids I saw it looks like the place is overrun with "Tween's"!!! (looked like it was all 11-12-13 year olds!!)

I was thinking that a session or two in the foam pit or on the tramp, might just help me with my fear of getting any real air on the slopes. (I biffed hard a few times & found myself avoiding the rollers or checking my speed to keep from doin' it again. ...Yeah I know,.. I'm a Wuss!) ;-)

but I was thinking that I might be able to dial in some form or technique in a safe environment before taking it to the bunny hill opening day?

Do they let you strap into your board going off the tramp? Are the "Tweens" everywhere and r they as obnoxious as they usually seem to be?

What's the best time to go?
Any feedback would be appreciated! Thnx!

When I went it was a rail jam and yeah, mostly teens.

Dave can explain the jump more but for me it was basically useless for people like you and me wanting to work on straight airs and simple grabs. It's more for people working on getting inverted.

Ok, Thanks! If what you say is true, it doesn't sound like it would help me much! I'm definitely not ready to give the park stuff a go yet! Been watching my SA tutorials a lot lately, trying to keep that "Visualization" thing goin' when I watch! They say it's supposed to work! Dunno myself!

I was surprised last winter how much I retained from my first spring boarding. It seemed I was even much better than I was when the 2011 season ended! (..I went up to Boyne a LOT between Feb & Mar that first end of season!)

Hope that holds true for this season as well!

I think misfit is out of business or going out of business. they are talking about changing facilities to a smaller place or places) but all that's just talk for now. Check their FB the last few posts have been pretty ominous and from what I hear inside they basically went way overboard on the Fenton location and it came back to bite them.

But yeah, the tramp is fun but you can't use your board on it, and the pit would be fun if you wanted to get upside down so it's too "advanced" for most rides or skiers (IMO that didn't help their business situation but probably would not have been enough to save them).
