Got me all excited, then checked their web site. Seems like a long drive for one thinly covered run. Didn't realize that they were getting temps cold enough in the UP for making snow tho, So that seems like a good omen.

Same here. I got excited and was seriously considering driving up and staying the weekend but not for one bunny hill.

If it were a couple legit runs then I may have.

Brule is always the first in MI to open and the last to close, they target Nov 1 every year.

What's Brule like when it's full open & runnin' legit? Their trail map doesn't have it looking much bigger than PK or Holly. Hard to tell fur sure.

I've never been north of Boyne so I can't say.

I am headed to the UP in January though, not sure where the weather will take us but I will report back on any ski area we visit

Onthesnow.com says it's 150 acres compared to PK's 80 acres but it doesn't have much vert.

If u hit Mt. Bobemia I definitely want a report on that!! Saw your vids with Leo from Crystal end of last, and u guys look like u can handle the trees & drops alright. But If that's the whole mountain there, then that's beyond my level right now.
I know their web site says "Not for Beginners"!

I see they are open now with limited runs but hey pen is open

yeah that's the whole mountain at Bohemia from what I hear. lots of glades, no grooming, no snowmaking. all natural stuff.

if you're looking up to the UP I would be interested in checking out Ski Porkies over in Ontonagon/Porcupine Mountains. It is almost as big as Bohemia, but mellower terrain and they also have snow-cat service on an additional 100 acres.

Went to ski brule today. Nothing special, but something is better than nothing. They had one run and the bunny hill, which i'd guess is only around 50 yards long. 1 reg box, 1 wide box, 1 up down up down box and a couple rails.

anyone wanna guess when the hills in southeast will be open. im gunna guess the first weekend of December
