I'm planning a snowboard trip for December. Aiming for something epic but it's hard to fit in my budget.

Definitely not good enough, but it was fun to be on real "snow" for a little bit with a board strapped to my feet. Yesterday at BCS Novi:

FWIW here is the extended forecast for Grand Blanc (Mount Holly). Almost every night is cold enough to blow. Starting the 15th there is a good 8-day stretch of very low overnight temps as long as some of that rain either fails to materialize, or turns in to snow, instead, we might be in good shape.

They need 28F and low humidity to blow. But once they can start doing that, it's amazing how quickly they are capable of opening a few runs. Less than a week if conditions are good. I think last year they opened on like 4 or 5 days notice.

i wanna watch it but i feel like a 35 min video is not worth 10 dollars especially since i spent a good amount of money in these past months preparing for this season.

There's *tons* of free movies dropped already, or dropping soon. If money's tight, there's still no shortage of snowboard vids to watch

Next year you should check out that BCS jam though, lots of fun, and a free event

I hear ya. I've been a Horgmo fan since not long after I got into riding from his short videos so I was okay throwing a couple bucks his way.

I need to buy art of flight but Im waiting till I get a blu ray.
