It's too early to say for sure but Jan 26-27 falls on my rotational schedule of when I go up north. We do it every other weekend. I wouldn't be there on Friday most likely, just Saturday and Sunday.

OK! Cool! Holly's about 20-30 min. further out for me so I think sometime between 10 & 11 is a safe bet for me to get there! Looking forward to meeting Leo & watching you guy's hit the kickers!!


As for Highlands,.. I didn't check on it, but I presume the airbag event is more than a one day deal?? If I go, I'll probably take the Fri. off anyway. It's just a bit far & expensive for an overnighter! More worthwhile for me If I can ride 2.5-3 days instead of only 1 & 3/4!! Let me know when u are sure & if you are interested, I'll bring My Pro camera's n lenses not just the GoPro!

I don't think I'm doing that. Weather is going to be super warm so the snow will be too slow to clear the knuckles at Holly.

I'm not making serious plans about the airbag at Boyne. If Dave is up there and does it then sure I will but if not I probably won't bother. I have too much fun exploring the rest of the resort.

Pine Knob was fun this morning. Soft corduroy and now crowds.

Now I'm sitting at my desk at work

Went on the smallest kicker they had a few times but didn't pull the trigger on anything other than straight air. I was practicing backside 180s off the knuckles and got real comfortable doing those, I just need to grow a pair and send it off a real jump now.

I'm also aiming for 10am on Saturday. I'm hoping the jumps are small enough to clear because I'd like to work on those and the park might be too slow to ride.

Right on. That would be great because I finally started getting my straight airs dialed in at Hawk Island and I'd love to work on indy or something.

I can't find my crap gloves, I hope I can find them in case we use the tow

I got a pair of leather over the glove protectors. I'll throw them in my pack for u to use. (hmmn, I haven't used those things since my 2nd & 3rd time on the board out there at Brighton! They're like brand new)

Really looking forward to riding with all u guys in one place finally!

Well @ 55 degrees, snow should b soft enough that the biggest risk is a whole bunch of "chomps" sized craters all over the place!!

Yeah it sucks but Saturday will be dry then it gets cold again.

It actually would have been fine conditions to have gone up to Highlands Saturday.
