all you're gonna get right now are regular rates. no two-for-one discounts yet...

No details posted on the site yet as to who is participating this year but the past two seasons at participating Shell gas stations if you buy 10 gallons of gas you get a voucher good for buy one/get one free lift ticket. I'm pretty sure the vouchers worked at every ski area in the state except Alpine Valley Down here at Holly or PK or Brighton they were good any week day (holidays & weekends excluded).

Best part was that the Shell gas station right across the street from Pine Knob was a participating station, so every wednesday I'd just pull over on my way there after work, gas up and meet Boardaddicktd in the lodge, then we'd split the price of one lift ticket and get the second one free.

The vouchers were also good at a few dozen ski areas/resorts across the country, so you could stock up and take them on vacation depending on where you're going.

Hahaha... Yea, we got like 8 feet total while I was out there. On our last day of shredding, we had consistent snowfall from night before to that night. Every time we went back to the peak, the previous tracks were covered back up haha. We wore our goggles and facemasks and were good to go. It was a Friday too and mountain was empty (Diamond Peak). I don't recall the number from Friday, but it had to be a good 2 feet or more while we were sbing.

The second day we snowboarded was the day after a foot of snow

I'll be putting up a review of my new setup and outerwear too soon.

Hopefully I can get in a decent amount of mich shreddin too before season is over. It's harder than I thought with a baby haha.

By the way... I spent around $120 total for three days of riding out there. One of those days was til 9pm and yes, I rode all the way from 9-9. Was sick! Local mountains in Tahoe are definitely the way to go. Cheap and less crowded with great snow and challenging enough runs.
