Yeah, Since plans to find someone to split the gas & head north for an overnighter to Highlands and ride the 8-12" of lake effect they've gotten this week didn't come together, I guess I'll be hitting PineKnob on sun. (...Maybe Sat. too!)

A friend of mine and me are thinking about taking next Weds. (6th) off and heading up to Caberfae. Liftopia has lift tickets for that day @ $7.50 Liftopia - Resort Details

I don't think you even need to go through Liftopia. They've been doing the 7.50 tix for at least the past several Wednesdays now for their 75th anniversary or something like that.

My sister-in-law (who got me into snowboarding) went there a couple weeks ago and said it was fucking packed! But still, a 7.50 lift ticket is a 7.50 lift ticket.

I'd go if I wasn't already taking Friday off next week to head to Petoskey.

Cab gets busy on weekends no doubt and the area where Smiling Irishman passes Shelter/Upper Easy Street feeding into Lower Canyon is like freaking rush hour traffic.

Heading to South Peak at those times is best. Lift may still have a line but the slopes are so wide open that traffic isn't an issue.
