Sabatoa: Thanks for that. It takes time for new people to learn their way around and I wanted to be sure to be respectful and play by the rules. Fact is I'm more comfortable posting questions like these in here because I feel like more of a part of this mini-community since we all have more in common being in Michigan. Plus, there is a pragmatic reason for it as well, seeing as how everyone here is more in tune with our specific riding conditions/challenges in our region.

Funny how it works isn't it. LOL I am more of a lurker than a poster, but reading so much of everyone on here's thoughts, you really get a sense that you " know" them.

I know I look forward to eventually getting up north to ride with SW and I wish I could have been there to see BA in the ring at SIA etc....

Well, You're welcome to give it a try if you ever get out here when I'm on the hill! As for the other thing, Sabatoa is right! Read some of the posts back over the last two three years! Since I've been posting here, the guys in this "mini community" have always been willing to help & give advice or direction! That's why it's here I'm guessing!

It's not JUST about local conditions & NS revues!! (...sorry Leo! I just couldn't resist pokin' the Lion!!!)

Of course, Now I gotta expect to get the Claws!!

I will be at PK on Saturday morning. I will be the one on the greens getting good speed and then eating hard when I attempt to turn. Get back up and repeat as necessary. Feel free to stop by, laugh a bit and then throw some tips my way.

No, Saturday would be my 4 time out. Only been to PK and tried Alpine Valley last night, which (for the green area) sucked. It was a solid sheet of ice. I think I slid farther down the hill on my ass vs my board.

Sounds like I will have to give Holly a try one day.

Saturday would be a great day to go. All this snow we have coming in will make for a nice run on that green Plus, even when Holly is crowded, that run stays pretty open. Plus it's wider than PK's anyway. I actually like taking runs through there just because of the length and how mellow it is. It's my dick around run.

I'll ride switch alongside you and fall with you lol
