I didn't seem me really doing much more than just surviving on that run until close to the bottom half, opening it up and making long lines and sweeping turns. Looks so much fun.

This summer you're in town you can hit the gym with me. I'm telling you. 220 at the most and we'll see how far I take it. Down 8 lbs since the crash so far.

Discounts are mapped by the manufacturer, not the retailer. For most brands, the first series of discounts is around 20% off. By next season's gear arrival, discounts max out at 40-50% off for the most part. Then close-out prices year after that.

So 20% off puts it at right where I said, around $450. I've never seen a NS with a steeper discount than 20%. I'll be happy to be proven wrong though.

Yea, NS is a niche brand so maybe theirs is different. I wouldn't be surprised if they max it out at 20%.

My main point is, discounts are mapped by the brands. But even 10% off an NS Heritage is a good chunk since they are so pricey.

BTW, I don't think I've seen NS boards last long enough to go past 20% lol.

Exactamundo! Once he decided on a Never Summer, he was committed to paying retail or relying on a hope and a prayer to save a hundred bucks.

My foundation is Tae Kwon Do. In high school, I got bored of it and moved on. Ever since I've just been picking up parts of other forms.

I'm not saying this next line to compare myself to Bruce Lee... rather he is my inspiration. I followed in his footsteps. I never really took any more formal training in other arts like I did in TKD. For him, his foundation was Wing Chun. I learned other arts through mimicry and studying like Bruce Lee.

I have gotten training from friends in other disciplines though so I guess semi-formal? These include Kung Fu (can't tell you what form), western boxing, Muy Thai, and some Jiu Jitsu.

So yea... I guess mixed martial artists is the best definition. I prefer formless though.

I hope hope hope it's cost effective for them to repair it.

If not I hope I don't have to see that 2013 come my way. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll have a spare 2012 laying around. A 2014 wouldn't ruin my day either.

A 2013 sure would though.

It'd be cool if they could do a post mortem and tell me what the hell happened to it.
