yeah i did day sesh today not bad a little crowded in the park though.

snow was decent all the features were out pretty much and they finally spray-painted the lips on the kickers. no sunshine flat light was hard to ride in and it started getting pretty windy around 130pm hopefully that dies down tonight or it's gonna be mighty cold for you guys.

i might head back tomorrow not sure yet. I was going to go up north & pick up a cap for gls:maverick's truck about 4hrs north and we were going to stop at Caberfae but I've got a ton of shit to do around here before my brother's wedding and the prospect of a 14+ hour day just wasn't jiving with the rest of my schedule but I might be able to sneak out to PK for a few hours either session.

Jesse spotted me in the park. Looking pretty steezy on his new setup.

Everything was good except breaking in new boots . I can bearly walk on my bad ankle, and it doesn't help it was already bad.

thanks dude hah. ur boots are ill. so did u leave after that? i never saw ya after the Pinery. i was doin pretty good until i went to the park at the far right and took a major spill off one of the 1' boxes over there. took a pretty hard blow to my ass and head. glad i had a bucket on fer sure. i dont know what it is about 1' boxes that don't have straight sidewalls but they're more intimidating to me. that third kicker in Snowbird kinda sucked. i could never clear the landing so eventually gave up on it.

We were there till 9. My left foot went numb and I took off my boot in the car for a minute, and it never went on my foot again last night. I'm hopin these boots get done breaking in soon...

spent most of the day working on BS 180s off the small kicker at the bottom of pinery. For some reason I've just never been comfortable with BS 180 - probably because I got super comfortable with FS 180 that I never learned how to BS. Anyways I'm pretty sure I spent all day with really bad technique which is why I hate riding solo... Fortunately I think I know what I'm doing wrong and hopefully it won't be hard to correct.

I've done a couple BS 360's on Sunday and yesterday riding up the tranny. For some reason I'm really comfortable doing those I think because by the time you're ready to pop you're going so slow you're almost standing still. Those were a little sketchy at first because a 3 on vert you land fakie... I'm still not stomping them but happy that I've got a few of them.

nah i'm still afraid to do them off kickers. i haven't touched any of the big kickers this season yet - I'm hoping it's because I haven't really been riding much park or with anyone who wants to ride park but I think I might have a little bit of "the fear" lingering in my brain after that spill last season...

I knuckled the step up yesterday. Oof.
