What's up Michigan peeps? Couple hours until the lifts open here in Whistler and I can't sleep because there should be around 6" or so of fresh stuff....should be good! I heard you got some snow back there too? Just need these 2 hours to go by faster.

^^^ Dick. But while we're at it, my "end of the season" is shaping up to be a whirlwind... I'm flying out to Vail tonight to ride & cover the Burton US Open, coming home Sunday. Then, I'm lying back out to Breckenridge on Thursday 3/7 and coming home evening of 3/11. Then on 3/15 heading up to Crystal Mountain for the weekend. Hopefully there is still snow down at MTH the following weekend like 3/23. That would be pretty close to unprecedented, though. I think they have the base for it, and the long-term forecast looks promising (not too warm, a little snow, etc.) but they usually end up shutting down by St. Pat's weekend at the latest. |

Wifey wanted me to come up north with her and the gang. I told her that if I was driving all the way up there and lodging with 15 snowboarders then I was going to get myself a freebie ticket to the Camelot lift and shred some green runs while they were out on the rest of the hill. She changed her mind about me coming.
