I caught myself watching the vid with my head leaned to the left though, haha. My videos are always off kilter like that too so I don't have any suggestions.

Guessing that is shot with a GoPro since you used a chesty mount? Does the lens rotate on those? My Contour I level out the camera so it's straight on....a little red laser beams shows you if it's level.

yeah it was chest-mount. GP doesn't rotate like the Contour but this would be fixable if I put another one of those elbow joints on the mount which would allow me to rotate/angle the camera to get a more level video.
I intended to do that on Saturday after reviewing Friday's footage, but I guess it slipped my mind. |

If I had better editing software I could probably rotate the vid about 15 degrees.

Cool videos.
We ended up at Vail on Saturday and had a great time. Still tons of great snow left. We were jumping off of Dragon's Teeth in the morning, did 5 runs in China Bowl, then hit Mongolia bowl. All knee deep at least. Face shots all morning long. Where were you riding mostly? |

Saturday I was on the front side. Took a few laps in the morning then caught the Men's pipe finals then took a few more laps in the afternoon. My legs were pretty dead. Wish I would've headed back over to China/Mongolia, but TBH I am not sure my legs would've held up. My last few runs were shit, just didn't have the muscle left to power through stuff like I normally would.

Yea man, its a whole different world out here. Especially if you got about 16k vertical in on Friday... Not only that, but the altitude and less oxygen weren't helping you recover as quickly either. We did 19.2k on Saturday, leaving the mountain before 3pm. Wasn't nearly as packed as I thought it was going to be. It was HOT though. I only had my shell + under armor and I was soaked. Sun was just destroying any south facing slopes after about 11am. We did an afternoon Dragon's teeth and it was a night and day difference from the deep, soft powder in the morning to the heavy, corn potato crud in the afternoon. Trees still had good snow though, in the shade. Glad you had a good time though. |

Well... I almost thought I would go an entire season without buying a new board. Then I found Altrec.com's closeout section, which has a pretty decent number of this year's boards (some are blems) at 40-50% off.
Coupon code "GOGGLES20" gets you another 20% off. I could not resist the Burton Sherlock for the bargain price of $208. Having them ship it out to BurtonAvenger in Breck so hopefully I can ride it this weekend. Anyways, they got tons of boards from Burton, Rome, Gnu, Ride, etc. even some splitboards if that's your thing. Snowboards Sale - Save Up to 80% in Snowboards Outlet |

Sweet! The Sherlock was the one Burton board I demo'd up at Boyne that I really liked!!! It's the same basic flat rocker profile as my Rome GR.
Hope u get a chance to shred it out there!
