AV has the best progression park, but the worst regular runs. PK has a Great park and decent runs, but the crowds there give off a different vibe. PK parks, on the afternoons and weekends, are super crowded. Be prepared to face a ton of kids sitting at the top, on features, and at the bottom of both parks.

Mt Holly has the best jump line right now. They have jumps for all levels as of now. Their features are a good mix, but the location sucks. It's tucked away in the left most corner so when you are done, you're going to have to skate over to the quad. Holly has the best regular runs in town.

What leo said about the parks. MTH is building their end-of-season park for a big slopestyle & big air contest this week. it should be pretty rad, as usual, but pretty high level. otherwise their current jump setup is cool, Pine Knob has the best jib area. I have reasonably higher hopes for Brighton beginning next season. I don't think Vail has had any time to put $$ in to development yet, but hopefully the can step it up.

Holiday Valley is supposed to be pretty decent. I almost went there this year, a friend of mine has been a few times and recommends if for nothing other than a change of scenery, on account of it being slightly taller and about the same distance as Boynes. I say check it out.

Well, weather up north's NOT cooperating,.. so I'm gonna stick around here for today and see what Mt. Holly is like on a weekday when there are no crowds!

Anyone else gonna get out there today?

Ha, I'm taking the whole DAY off tomorrow just to get up to Crystal because my weekend has been hijacked by domestic shit.

BTW, as a reminder Crystal passes for 2013/14 go on sale tomorrow. Early bird pricing lasts until April 7th for those who are interested. The wife and I are going this route this year.

My game is slipping though…..I just realized I wore my teal/brown checked with big puffy fur hood snow coat to work instead of the dress coat I wear every day.

Haha, I was mostly honest about it. Told the boss I needed to use some annual leave to take care of some "personal business". Still slightly dishonest, but at least if I break my neck and go to the hospital he won't wonder why I was snowboarding on a sick day! lol

I might have asked you this before, but why do you go to PK so much rather than Holly?

Holly has the better regular runs. They have a long green run that I actually love to hit to mess around on or practice things. Even their bunny hill with tow rope is longer and better.
