Yea, I was saying those on Thor look like natural moguls. And it's believable that they got built up big because unlike Holly, that run at Crystal sees a lot of traffic.

I wonder though, are the moguls on Gorge natural? Those always look so uniform.

Gorge is far too steep to run a cat on. Those would be natural, I don't think any portion of that run is groomable except for the bottom where it cat tracks over to Buck/or whatever adjacent run.

This is the reason I thought the ones on Thor looked unnatural. But Gorge is so steep maybe it's just a pain in the ass to groom it so that's why they let the moguls form.

Either way, they're making the moguls either directly or indirectly by not grooming. So my initial question about why they'd "do that" to Thor which tends to be a run people like to race down still stands.

Maybe I have the name wrong... not that big bowl area where I did a cartwheel. Other side of that. You can see it from the lift going up to that bowl area.

There are two bowls, one on the backside of Buck that Hoot Owl tracks around and there's Gorge, which faces the Cheers lift to the north.

Yea that is a valid concern. They should leave the mid section untouched with moguls or put it off to one side like Nubs Knob does with theirs. An entire run (a popular one) full of moguls is not necessary and it kills the fun for a lot of people.

Now to me, again mostly a rookie, there is a distinct difference to how the moguls look on Gorge and Thor versus the ones on the back bowl by Hoot Owl. Are they formed differently because of how people ride down them somehow?

This forum is starting to piss me off. What's with the Influx of fucking pricks? In the past month, I've had more douchebag comments made to me than in the past two years.
