Man, it's been a beautiful run of days here for super late season riding.

I'm taking the girls up to Crystal tomorrow and the more I think about it the more tempted I am to bring my board and do some mild runs. I'm not asking advice, I know everyone would (and should) say not to do it. I'm just sayin, I'm tempted.

Tomorrow is 11 weeks since the injury. For normal breaks that's PLENTY of time but I just dunno about the burst fracture. They told me 5 months. I feel fine for the most part but I haven't tested it or pushed it..

I wish I could have a test done that would tell me if it's past the point where damage could be done or if it's still touch and go.

Dude,.. I know you weren't asking opinions, and you also knew that these would be the responses! But I just want to plead with you in the absolute STRONGEST terms,..

PLEASE do not tempt fate! I know it's been a total bummer and a complete disappointment for you to have missed most of this season, but consider the risk of missing EVERY season from now on!

I really want to be able to race your ass down highlands or Holly/PK next year!!

just my 2₵!

Pine Knob was great spring riding yesterday sunny as heck and warm, mashed potato slush snow. Great way to close out the season. I can't make it today, but I think Chomps is on his way up there right now. They're open today until 530. Wall-to-wall snow, great parks, jumps, rails, everything is open.

Crystal was fun yesterday. Slushy with sunshine and not busy at all. Thought about heading up there today too since we're in the area but wound up just hanging out with the fam.

I believe they're saying they might actually get more snow up here Monday.

It was nice, mash potato-y and sunny. The ski school for my niece was top notch. She was riding lifts and green runs after she got out of her class.

My little one had fun too, next year she's taking their group classes for sure. I'm convinced these guys rock.

As I posted earlier, I stole my brother's board while he was doing something with my nephew. I just did one run down the bunny hill slaloming the cones. Just enough to say I rode 3/30 and one last time the same season I got wrecked.

Can't update my days on the hill for that though. lol

Oh she loooooved it but we stuck to the bunny hill and took lots of breaks. She likes sliding down the hill but wanted/needed to hold someone's hand. Since today was just about having fun I obliged, running down the damn hill to keep up with her lol

After her last run she was like "Daddy take my skis off, I'm done!" As she makes this dramatic gesture lol
