Thing is, I've been riding all winter with zero problems except a flaring up of another injury, which I've been alright with. But this park shit? I felt like it was my first day on the hill all over again!

I also lifted weights at lunch and think that I may have simply overdone it overall yesterday. But falling on my ass several times I'm sure was the icing on the cake. Well take that back, putting deodorant on was the icing on the cake. Moral of the story? FML.

lol, old geezers.

I know you know this already but park is so different than cruising that you basically are a brand new rider again.

See how easy it is at Hawk to get a lot of hits in? That's one of the things that makes it so great for progressing.

Yeah for sure, once you get used to that damn tow cable. But I'll admit that even though everyone was cool, it was very intimidating how good they were. I did a lot of standing and staring.

Yeah, that's why I warned you specifically about that. It's easy to feel like 'what the hell am I doing here?' but you just gotta ignore that and work on getting better according to your own goals, not on what those guys are doing.

Actually I am, but not mainly for that reason. I ran the idea of Crystal by my wife last night and she wasn't too keen on it. She's been home with the kids all week (spring break, teacher) and I probably better stick around and hang out with the fam tomorrow. I really just understated her actual reaction on all that.

Thanks though.
