I'm into traveling, camping, bike riding (paved) and hiking.

I just got into camping last year and really like it. We have a big ol' tent that fits a table, our queen size mattress and still has room for storage. In the summer, my gear whoring turns towards camping gear. hah

i try and get out to mountain bike about 1x per week. I like it but just can't commit as much time, energy, or $$$ as I do for snowboarding

Also, beer.

For me it depends on the time of year. Too early for the beach, so I'll get out and do some steelheading this spring. If you think snowboarding is an expensive, try fly fishing (not to mention bow hunting and bird hunting in the fall). But as Sam said, you have to appease the gear-whore beast that resides within somehow.

Thinking about doing a Gus Macker again this summer, but can never get a group of guys to coordinate on it. Plus, it's been a while and an injury for the snowboard season is something I'm not interested in.

I'm going to hit the weights and workouts even harder this year. Next year it's time to finally get some air bitches!

Yeah, I'm slowly getting back in the weight room.

Just before the season this winter I was benching 320lbs. I'd like to get back there. While I don't make the big weight my focus, it'd be nice just to maintain where I was pre-injury.

Typically in the summer I focus on low weights and lots of reps to pop. I got enough bulk to last a lifetime. hah

True story, that last bit. I also focus on big compound lifts that primary work the prime movers. I've always gotten the most bang for my buck that way.

I'm a gym rat from way back but I usually lift solo so I don't know all the jargon.

Are you saying that you basically do bulk style lifting (heavy weight/average reps) on the big muscles, like legs/chest?

No thanks, I did the Warrior Dash last year and plan on doing it again this year...that's enough fun for me....guess I should start running again.
I'm in a softball league, a baseball league, and that's about how my free time will be used. I need to install a basketball hoop that I bought. The rest will be family stuff...beach, pool, t-ball, BBQ, and like Dave...beer. Not sure how it works for you guys, but weekends in the summer usually get filled up fast and there are no free ones until Sept.

I don't understand the appeal of those things, either.

And it's not that I hate running (which I do -- but as recently as 2-3 years ago I was running ~25 miles per week and as many as 8 or 9 miles at a time) I just don't get it.

I should get back in to running again, but FML it just takes so much damn time. I'd rather be out riding my bike or whatever, plus, I walk the dog probably an average of 5 miles a day in the spring/summer/fall anyways.

I am going to start working out again. I have the original P90 program and probably will get one of their new ones this summer once I get back "in" shape.
