If anyone wants to get one last day in, looks like its tomorrow or not at all!

Something tells me Hawk will be open on Monday, just because.

I heard Boyne was awesome today, Mike was up there still. I sold my soul for a last day at Hawk today. Even if Boyne is open next week or beyond, I'm done for the season unless we win the lottery. Not that I'm broke, but I think that would be the only thing that would keep my wife occupied enough to let me go!

Definitely not much snow left at Hawk. Still a good variety of features but at this point they're all intermediate+ to advanced even a lot of stuff I still don't feel comfortable hitting, and since half the hill is bare, you're really limited to what you can hit and there's no real "lines" anymore, it's pretty much one-and-done, back to the rope.

But fuck it it's April 21st and I was still snowboarding. I got my 40 days finally, and these last few days I've been pushing myself to hit features that I've never hit before so it's good building blocks for next year.

Here is one feature I never hit until like, my 2nd to last lap today.

I entertained going to Boyne this past Sunday, but in the end I decided to just deal with the fact that the season is over. It was a good season, but not as good as I had originally hoped due to my nagging injury. But, in light of Sam's predicament, I supposed it could have been worse.

Good news is that I've gotten a referral to go see the MSU Sports Medicine doctors next week. The doc I'm seeing is the team physician for the Lansing Lugnuts baseball team, so hopefully I'll finally get an answer and fix for this groin issue well in advance of next season.

Nice getting in to a good doc that should be able to help you out.

Hopefully it's taken care of fast so you can enjoy some summer before it's over.

...although at this point I'm not sure we're going to get a summer this year. Sheesh.

You've got more riding this season than I do total in my whole career I think, I'm sure you can handle at least some areas of Bohemia.
