Has anyone ever had sessions achilles pants? I love the color of them, but they have mixed reviews on dogfunk. I like my burton cargo pants I have now, but they don't have those in bright green.
I have sessions achilles pants in brown...they are actually like 4 years old. They have been great for me and only last year started taking on water. I washed them in Nikwax and they are pretty much good as new. I would recommend them.

Maybe these? 686 pretty consistently has the widest selection of colors. They cost a bit more unless you can find some on closeout from last year, but they're solid, solid pants. There's a reason everyone who owns a pair recommends them.

Bonus: they come with a fully removable pair of fleece/sweatpants liner.

Thanks a lot for the help david. I'll see if I can find a pair on closeout somewhere. I'm not to familiar with 686, but it seems that they do have great reviews like you said. Thats cool that they have the liner with them to.

I bought a pair of these last year, I think I got them about mid-season on a discount maybe 20% off so they were like, $160. Well worth it. Mine are a muted/textured green which IIRC they referred to as "grass".

They fit on the larger/baggier side, so keep that in mind if you end up ordering them.

Ok, I can get them on backcountry.com right now for $160 because they have a 20% off coupon code going. I might go ahead and order them now. Okay thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

Nope, some fraying at the bottom where they drag a bit when walking. They are nice relaxed fit.

I have no clue the size or color you are looking for, but these two being sold by backcountry on geartrade.com are pretty cheap. They still have the tags on them, so it's likely they were tried on and returned.

686 Smart Original Chocolate XL $58

686 Smart Original Green (Grass) M $98

Thanks for the help Karpediem. I like the design and build quility of the 686 pants better, but I do kinda like the lime color from sessions. I need to check the chart for 686 again, but I know I'll need either small or medium. I'm looking for a little brighter green then that medium pair you linked. Thanks anyhow though. Thats a great deal!
