I was at Holly for an additional 2 weeks after closing for training and they still had enough snow. March comes around and people just stop coming out.

When they open early like this it's always 3pm there just aren't enough people to ride during the days plus they may still be blowing if it's cold enough.

As for crowds don't worry about it I've been to Holly's opening day the last 4 years I think and it's never been an issue even with only 3 trails open.

Yep. I was riding Hawk Island on April 21st. It was pretty miserable, but even one week prior to that on 4/13 it was pretty decent.

Boyne looks tits right now. While I don't really expect them to open early (and I can't really get up there even if they do), if it stays reasonably cool they should have awesome conditions on Thanksgiving weekend.

Not opposed my man, especially not with you. I'm just trying to decide what to do.

Wednesdays baby momma picks up my daughter at 6pm so my options are to go to Holly when she leaves, which puts me in the parking lot around 7:10p or so OR to leave after work and have baby momma pick up my daughter from my wife...not the most ideal situation as you can imagine but it's an option.

My wife is cool with it but my ex is a bitch so I'm torn.

Well I didn't even bring it up with mine yet because I was waiting to see if they'd open for sure first. I'll bring my gear just in case and cross that bridge when I come to it.

That reminds me: "It's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission."
