Too bad we missed you Dave, Sam and I got there a bit after 6 and rode for about an hour and a half. I was surprised by the amount of snow as well. Way better conditions than I expected but also a bit more of a crowd too. It wasn't a big deal though, we made it through the line quickly enough.

All in all it was a great first day of the season. Sam must have been lying about his injury because he flew down the hill just fine.

Nope! Not lyin' about his injury! He just likes to FLY down the hill! rode with him @ Boyne! Half the time i'd start down first and find him waitin on me in the lift line. Never saw him go by! Lol

Glad to hear he's still smokin down the hill! Sab, knew you'd be back in form after a few laps!

Man it was great getting out again. Thanks for the pressure trapper. haha

I felt just as good as I did before the incident. Sure I was rusty so my riding style was a little noisy in the beginning but I cleaned it up some and by the end of the night everything was beginning to feel like second nature again.

Funny you guys are talking about speed, I was reigning it in because I wasn't mentally ready to turn it on yet.

Long story short; I'm back bitches

I'm just glad that my groin injury seems to be healed up fairly well. No pain on that front despite the nagging knee that was causing me some hesitation. Hope this dang thing heals up by Thanksgiving.

Too bad there's no pill to take care of that knee. I didn't notice anything with your stance that would aggravate it but I wasn't really looking either.

It'll go away (hopefully). Like I said, just bad osteoarthitis that flares up every so often. FML.

Most of my riding is at Boyne Highlands, Caberfae and Crystal Mountain. Locally it varies year to year. I think Holly is the best hill in SE Michigan for my riding style but I'll spend more time at Brighton on the odd weekday evening that I ride.

I'll be at Crystal for the vast majority of my riding. I'll hit Caberfae once or twice, Bittersweet once, and Boyne Highlands, Mountain and Nub's in a weekend trip up there. I may go to Holly or Brighton on an oddball widweek night, but not very often.
