Probably gonna be mostly Brighton this year and up north at various places. but I always like Mt. Holly. I want to like Alpine and I usually have a good time there but I never go more than maybe twice a year to that place. Pine Knob builds better parks, and Mt. Holly has better terrain.

Yep that's my gripe with Alpine and also I've never really liked its flow. They have that whole left side of the place with relatively large features but there's just not a lot of thought put in to their arrangement and frankly not enough features either. Or maybe I just suck. Probably a little bit of that, actually. They could benefit IMO from some more medium features, it's like you have a choice between an 8ft ride on box and a 10 ft tabletop in the mini park, or a closeout stairset handrail, 35 foot jumps and 30 foot rails in the big park. Nothing in between.

yeah i hear you on that, thats why i usally stick the right side near the carpet in alpine... they always have a cool set up there with medium to begginer features. Plus the steezy homies arent usually over there. might try a flip this year, so who knows

I think the days when I might have tried a flip are long gone... I didn't try it when I was 21 I'm certainly not going to start at 33. Doesn't help that two friends got broke off last year doing that shit at Alpine actually

Well, looks like Holly will be open tomorrow morning. My plan is to b there first thing. Anybody else heading there or PK tomorrow?

(...also see that Boyne Mt is opening now! Hope they get enough snow to open Highlands before the 6th! Got my B-Day 3 day weekend and I want to ride.)

Ughhhh wish I could... but we have plans in the afternoon/evening and I gotta get the yard work taken care of. Plus I got my fix on Wednesday... if they open Sunday I might try to make it otherwise I can hold out until next week (I will be in Cali most of the week on business anyways).

They'll be open. Maybe next weekend but probably not until Thanksgiving if I had to wager it. Nubs:
