My trip to Tahoe is booked for the first week of Feb. Kind of excited but worried as well since it's basically a drought there. For everything though I am only spending $480, so groomed runs in the sunshine is fine for me.

Also, looks like I am going to be at Boyne Mountain the 24th-26th this month. If anyone else will be up there then.

Playing around on the QP in Jon's backyard today...

Just spent about 30 mins re-shaped it because it was a bit under-vert... setting up right now hopefully I can get a few more shots at it before I call it a day.

Nice man! Get to that halfpipe at Highlands and kill it!

See how you hit that thing switch? I can't do that. Any time I do a side hit or something I'm fine if it's on my toeside. I can't hit stuff on the back side.

They got a halfpipe that's OK at Alpine Valley right now... can't wait to get back there.

BTW though I'm a regular rider, that's hitting it with normal forward stance, not switch. I'm no good switch with the speed the winch gives us here, but I can kinda sort negotiate a halfpipe wall switch, I just can't get any air.

Oh I'm sure BH's is better. Alpine's was actually pretty decent the other day, easily the biggest I've ever seen it, I'd say about half of it had 10-12' walls. Usually it's like 6-7'.

And it's closer

DAMMIT!

I re-F'd up my wrist biffing off of a small bump that I was hitting all day yesterday. Stiffened up a lot after breaking for lunch. It's gotten pretty swollen as well! On top off that, I felt a major flare up in both my shoulder starting too. (...no doubt caused by the same "biff!"). Took a massive dose of steroids before my nap, but so far, still hurts like hell! Cant raise my L arm to even put my helmet on.

Gonna give it another hour for the steroids to kick in and see if it starts backing off. Otherwise, I might b done for today. SHIT!!!!

I know you probably got there around first chair bro. Maybe you should call it a day so that you're fine the next two days?

....and let Dave get away with that "Not riding hard enough" crack?

Yeah if the steroids aren't backing off the shoulder pain soon, that's just what I'll do. Stupid too. You remember the set of 3 trees right at the Amy's run on-load? There is a little double drop there between the fence and where you slide up to load. It is deep n soft there and the landings from the first pop, created a second one right after. I made those all day yesterday. Today, the landing wasn't so soft. Got a headache from hitting my head, but felt fine after until I stopped to eat. Everything stiffened up. Lol! Only got 4-5 runs after before I knew it was gonna get worse.

...but yeah, I want to finish out the weekend so I'll take a break tonight if I have to. But Hell! It's fri night. Should be more chicks there tonight.

(....it's not a school night tonight!)
