Wednesday day sesh for me at PK along with some Summit Sports people. David was supposed to come, but looks like he has other snowboarding obligations. He is pushing for PK though.

sabatoa is coming from E. Lansing so PK is an extra 20 mins or so from Mt. Holly probably longer depending on how bad the roads are.

Yeah, I'm even concerned about the 45 min drive to Brighton if the roads are too ridiculous. I made so much progress last Saturday though and I can't wait to build on it. I gotta get out this week since I got the kiddo this weekend.

That sucks. I'd totally be willing to make a further drive to meet him, but since some of the office crew are going I'm obligated to PK.

Once I get better I'll venture out to other places more. I just started a month ago and have been sticking to Brighton so I can go as much as possible.

I can toeside carve, I'm weak heelside. I'll be working on that tomorrow.

That's kind of odd. It's usually the other way around. People have issues with toeside rather than heelside.

I assume you know how to stop heelside though? That is a great way to work on your heelsides. Start doing long carves heelside and gradually go into the stopping motion. This will get you comfortable with heel edge control.

Also, a little forward lean on your binding's highback will help with heelside power. Just start with a slight lean though and see if that helps.
