I assume you know how to stop heelside though? That is a great way to work on your heelsides. Start doing long carves heelside and gradually go into the stopping motion. This will get you comfortable with heel edge control.

Also, a little forward lean on your binding's highback will help with heelside power. Just start with a slight lean though and see if that helps.

I can stop heelside in powder or softer snow. Not so much in hardpack or whatever it is on the slopes. In those conditions I can stop easily toeside.

About the forward lean...I have K2 bindings with this metal tab kinda thing on the back of the highback. Is that some sort of thing to make the bindings lean forward more?

Yes it is. I have not owned any K2 bindings so I can't tell you how to adjust it. There should be some type of dial that you can rotate to make the metal tab sit lower so you get forward lean.

I used to have a metal tab/thumbscrew thingy on my Drakes and I think generally you have to make the metal tab higher if you want to increase forward lean. on my cartels it's a dial and I tighten it to increase lean, loosen it to decrease.

either way. whatever you hvae, just play with it and it will be pretty obvious whether you're turning it the wrong way or not

Yea, it should be obvious. On my Romes, the tab drops down so it hits the heelcup leaving the highback with a lean.

On my Flow, it just tightens the cable. Different strokes for different bindings... that didn't rhyme at all :/

I am going to try and be there early but I dn't know how long it will take to drive there.

Okay, wow. I loved Mt Holly. It was so much better than Brighton. I felt like you could do so much more with the runs, it was more than just a straigh slope.

We started out with a couple runs down the green on run #1. After that we spent the rest of the night on Blue, run #2. It was awesome. It felt so free to be able to hit the gorge and go down #1 if I wanted slalom the trees and hit #3. Even the little hills along the side before you hit the pine trees were fun to run up and down.
