sounds like just about everyone rode yesterday where were you???

can't go tonight my ribs are sore as f*ck they feel the worst in the morning, maybe I sleep on them funny or something. Sucks because it made me super-tentative & scared to ride park yesterday afraid to re-injure or make it worse. Heading up to Boyne on Sunday riding Mon/Tues up there...

I'm down to try and do something Saturday or Sunday next week, daytime riding.

Attention everyone! Leo is a real person. I saw him with my own eyes and talked to him in the flesh and I touched him so I am sure he was not an apparition or a figment of my imagination.

hah yea i actually ended up riding last minute tuesday night and it was pretty insane thats for sure. snow started rolling in about 630 and it was windy as hell! pretty cool! yea im supposed to meet a couple friends at holly tonite. they still have the redbull butter cup features set up which is pretty cool cuz i figured they would take them down right after the comp. 4 side by side boxes: 1-up, flat, down box 2-flat picnic table box 3-roller box 4-gap up, flat, down box.

my ribs are better but they're still sore. i think they might be like this all season as long as i continue riding, hah. u going to boyne mtn or highlands??? i leave for utah 2 weeks from today, frikken stoked!!! never been there b4!

Utah will blow you away, make sure to ride the back-side of Snowbird where even the green runs are epic but the steeps, well, those speak for themselves!

Yeah I figure the ribs are going to linger for me, too. But yesterday they were really bad, like borderline excruciating every time I bent over to strap in, or took a deep breath. Hell, I couldn't even butter without wincing in pain. I shoveled a shit ton of more snow last night but today they are feeling much better but I'm sure they'll be sore for a while.

Not sure whether it's Boyne MOuntain or Highlands I'm going up with Leo & that crew from snowboards.net to help them test/demo a bunch of boards.

yea i kno we're going to snowbird 4 sure. i think we're going to Cannons too? not quite sure. going with sum guys from high school that have been there b4 so they know a lot more than i do, which is good. free lodging at a friends place too!

David committed a snowboarding sin though. HE BROUGHT HIS WORK WITH HIM! Laptop and all!

Other than that, was actually a decent day of riding. Bad winds and visibility and biting cold, but good snow

Park was full of kids so I chickened out. I know, I know... it's petty... I shouldn't care what they think. Sue me.

But man was I having fun riding way off to the sides of the runs where people were neglecting the snow. I was also very busy concentrating on how the board handled too though. I'll have to look for Leo sized jump at Boyne though. Need to see how it is off a kicker.
