Looks like Caberfae this Sunday and I might try to squeeze in a couple hours at Cannonsburg before then. MAYBE.

Was curious if anyone does any snow kiting at all? I've been doing it in cascade park in Grand Rapids but need a little bit more room so was going to take it out onto Reed's Lake next week. Anyone have any experience with that at all?

My favourite time of the whole weekend was saturday night session where i pretty much get the whole trail to myself on fresh corduroy

Had a good time at Caberfae yesterday. Not as much fresh snow (only a few inches) in the AM like people at Boyne were reporting, but everything was nice and soft. While the sun was out in the AM, we spent a lot of time hiking up the old part of the resort (out past the broken down lifts on the north side of the resort) to get away from the crowd and find our own powder. 20 minutes of hiking for less than a minute and a half of pure bliss, 2 feet untouched and wide open runs all to ourselves. Totally worth it.

(for those of you that don't know me IRL, I am on the right)

In the afternoon, it starting puking nice fluffy snow and kept the runs nice and fresh. It was one of my better days at Caberfae.

Well, after a seeing a new chiropractor Sat., getting another adjustment and spending some time in traction. I feel good enough today that I am going to push my luck and head out to Mt. Holly this morning!

I forgot when I rescheduled my vacation last week, that I had added an extra day to my weeks vacation! Since I neglected to reschedule that, I have today off!

If any one is planning to head out there this morning, look me up!

Saw your xray post Chomps, wild man. I'm glad you're getting out today!

I was out this weekend but unfortunately it was cut short. I kinda tweaked my back with all the shoveling this year and the smallest little fall on Saturday took me out. I finished the day, I could ride and all but once I got to the hotel everything stiffened up and Sunday wasn't happening. Super bummed.

So this week I'm taking it super easy, gonna try and get healed up. It's going to be a busy month with almost every weekend involving a trip north and I want to make the most of it.

Hopefully next week I can do a mid-week with one of you guys.

We did a 12-9pm on Sat; but ended up heading in around 7:30 for the hot tub since the temps dipped pretty fast.

Sunday we did the 4hr flex with the shell buy one get one free lift tickets

If you ever plan to be there on a Sunday that's the way to go!!

I like that Michigan sticker on your board, it actually looks like it belongs there.
