No fresh but the groomers are good. Fast, smooth and firm.

well Sugar didn't have anything like the 15" they were reporting the other day. While I suspect that the Wednesday-into-Thursday storm dropped something like 8-10" (as forecasted), by Friday it was groomed, tracked, and packed leaving scant evidence that it had once been freshy-fresh.

Fortunately, the sun was out and it was 35 degrees, so we got to ride a beautiful spring day with tons of new snow, even if it was groomed over.

Last night, a storm came in out of nowhere, started dumping around midnight. We opted to go to Beech Mountain and there we found some fresh. It was in the "Midwest Pow Day" category, of maybe 4-6", or just enough to be legitimately powder instead of mere "dust on crust". It snowed pretty consistently all day and was still coming down when we left at 1:30.

Overall got really lucky with the conditions (today, in particular) but even moreso that we even made it in to Charlotte as scheduled. so many flights were postponed/delayed; and several airlines had cancelled ALL flights in to CLT on Thursday. Delta cancelled the 7am and 10am flights, but our 230pm was on time and landed early, one of the first flights in to CLT after having been completely shut down for almost 24 hours.

I will have to do a full report about the trip and the experience of riding in the Southeast, because it was "different" in some expected and some unexpected ways. Overall a fun trip though!

I happened to look at the webcam of Sugar Mountain the other day when you mentioned it and oh man I couldn't believe that fucking crowd. And that was on a weekday. It looked like a goddamn magic show.

Hit Crystal yesterday with the wife for a few hours. Took it easy, ankle's still fucked and she gets cold fast and needs breaks. Groomers same as Sam reported from Highlands. Also, buffett.

Hey guys... I decided to unload my snowboards that are just collecting dust. I can't keep holding onto them as much as I want to. No point since I'm not even riding them.

2012 Evo 157 - $100
2013 Cobra 158 - $180

Both boards have minor dings on topsheet. Evo has some edge imperfections that can be removed with tuning (I never bother with that stuff).

The Evo has been ridden a lot, but is still in really good shape. The Cobra hasn't been ridden much at all. The topsheet chips and dings are from dang skiers cutting it up with their chopsticks.

Let me know guys. Otherwise, off to eBay they go lol.

My buddy was interested but decided against another board right now. Good deal though, someone should snatch that right up!
