TWC has a severe warning with a "do not travel" notice for the area of Houghton & Calumet. I've been racking my brain to figure out some way I could head up there today before it hits, or on Sun/Mon after!
I don't figure that all that POW would get tracked out & packed by mid week visitors. (...could be wrong about that!) Like you, between the logistics and extra cost, not to mention the prospect of 22+ hours
of solo driving for a round trip? Just ain't gonna happen.
All I can really hope for is that the winds from this storm break up the ice on the lakes and turns the LE snow machine back on for the area around Highlands. It kinda sucks cuz the high temps for the area when I'll be there are forecat to be only in the low single digits. That's gonna suck BALLS if there's no fresh snow to go along with it!
With me getting laid up for a month, My hopes for an Epic season really
took a hit in the Nads this year!
....and I see from BoHo's site, they've gotten 27 in. in the last 7 days!!!!!! Shit! It must be awesome up there!!
