Bum deal Leo; I am headed to C-Bus for the weekend so I won't be around. If anyone wants to hit the Roberson rail tonight at my place let me know. I will be out there after work till whenever.

weather is looking more & more favorable now calling for AM snow in Clarkston instead of freezing rain. Should be a good day.

In other news: anyone want to try and set up a big meet-up a few weeks from now? I'm thinking a Saturday day session at Mt. Holly, March 12, weather permitting.

Caberfae tonight and tomorrow.

I think I'm really going to try and focus on heelside stops. It sounds ridiculous but I just don't know how to do them. Toeside, no prob. Heelside, lookout!

Keep working at it, you'll get it eventually! I don't recall having trouble with stops when i started (but that was a long time ago!) but I do remember having trouble initiating toe-side turns from my heel/traverse. Are you comfortable linking turns yet?

Yeah, I can link turns now. Heelside gave me a little trouble until I learned to "sit" while going heelside.

what is the specific trouble you're having with heelside stops? are you catching the toe-edge and faceplanting? Or just generally uncomfortable with it even if you're not wiping out?

Somehow my body has competely forgot how to even initiate the stop heelside. It's so weird. I wonder if my body is subconsciously afraid of face planting.

Shooting for a weekend day sesh at PK or Holly. Let me know if anyone can make it on either day. I'll try to see if I can push for a certain day. So far Saturday seems most viable though.

sunday is most viable for me Leo, I messed myself up last night; feeling much better tonight than I did when I woke up this morning but tomorrow I think would be pushing it. Plus, it's supposed to be nice & warm on Sunday...

Well, I'll probably do pk tomorrow. I can do Sunday too. Looks like tomorrow will be a solo day then. Unless I decide to hit my friend's backyard setup. Let me know if anyone can go tomorrow. I'll check back here in the morning. I can change to holly if needed.
