do you guys think ill be safe to plan a trip to boyne around 3/25, my first year snowboarding and i never been up north so i have no idea

oh and where and what is PK, sorry no idea

I wish I could it's so much less expensive during the week and usually less crowded, too. But probably can't get away with that.

PK = "Pine Knob ski resort" in Clarkston, MI.

My advice for any trip that late in the season is DO NOT MAKE A DEPOSIT OR RESERVATION in advance. YOu can book your room the night before. Except for the Krazy Daze event at Boyne on 3/19 weekend, all the resorts and hotels in the surrounding cities will have vacancy so don't make a non-refundable reservation because it might rain and you might not go.

Weather permitting. I was thinking Holly but how many people plan on attending? If the weather at Holly sucks, but it's awesome up north, would people be willing to drive for a day trip to Boyne Mountain or Schuss/Shanty?

FYI all Mt. Holly, Pine Knob and Alpine Valley were all closed both sessions today. When they start to shut down both sessions on a Saturday it's usually bad news; the beginning of the end. March 20 might be too optimistic. Next weekend might be the last hurrah.

Need more snow!
