But I still really enjoy Crystal so that didn't stop me from getting my season pass, which BTW are on sale for $269 unlimited through October 1st.

Because Crystal has something better than the places I've been (nubs, pk, holly, boyne, alpine, schuss), natural features. Much rather be doing that stuff.
But I digress... I need to learn park because that's what's by me when a 4 hour drive to Crystal isn't. |

We're planning on hitting Crystal when we're not snagging cheapo $9 lift tix at Caberfae this season. Apparently it's only an extra 15-20 mins drive.
Lansing. One one hand it sucks to have no local hills but on the flip, the up north places are closer.

Yeah Caberfae is like 15-20 mins West of Cadillac, but if you keep going on 115 North instead of taking that left turn at Burger King, Crystal Mountain is about 30 mins away.

And just down the road from Crystal mountain is a gem of a pub called Crystal Palace. Cheap hometown priced booze and a shuffleboard for some drunken fun and a friendly local named "Spoon Steve" who will happily play the spoons for you.

![]() We normally stop there at night on the way home round 10-11ish, hit it up for some free pies after shredding all day if you don't mind the wait for some sub-par burgers

By the way, when it comes to fast food in Michigan, a Double Whopper is A-OK with me. |
