Hey guys, check these places out. We stayed at one of the big cabins for the Forum snowboard demo weekend. It was super nice. Wouldn't be a bad idea to get a group together and split the cost. We had literally like 9 people at one point. 4 bedrooms, one was with a bunk bed. One was a master with a king bed and the other two were twins. Fouton and love seat. TV, full kitchen, the whole shebang.
Looks like I won't be doing an out-of-state trip this season so 12/17 is looking good for me. By the way, if you couples still don't feel like sharing a cabin, they have smaller ones that start at $79. These places are like 10 mins down the road from Crystal. By the way, that bar I was talking about is walking distance from the cabins. Nobody has to worry about being DD. You just have to suck up the cold, drunken walk back (which was fun in itself). already got my pass to Crystal. They're still on sale for $269 thru October 1.
Leo I know exactly where those cabins are but I have never stayed there or gone to the bar. I drive past them every time and always wondered whether they were nice or how much they cost. Usually when I am up there with the wife or whatever we stay in Cadillac or if we stay at the resort we just go to the bar/restaurants on-site but this would be a really good option for a small group.

I ride for free there
![]() Perks of the job. @David: It's even a good idea for big groups. Actually, I'd say it's better for big groups. Especially the 4 bedroom place we had. You know, the people on the couch could pay less or we could all do a good ol' fashioned paper rocks scissors lol. I even brought my PS3 to play on the big flat screen in there haha. But seriously, I really like that little homely bar with cheap booze and friendly people within walking distance. Those resort bars are pricey. I'm always DD whenever I go out with wifey so I like to let loose when I don't have to drive. |

Start at $79? I ain't hating that price. We usually pay around 89-99 in Cadillac.
I need a job where I can ride for free. lol

Actually, I get free Weekdays and Sunday... Half off Saturday. Still not worth it for me to get season ticket. I'd have to go up there 13 times to break even and strictly on weekends. Last edited by Leo; 09-20-2011 at 07:34 AM. |
